Empty Bowls--a success! Empty Bowls

Students enjoyed sharing their ceramic artwork with families and friends...what a great turn out for this local event! Thanks to everyone for attending and to Ms. Pearce and Ms. Jamie for organizing this important fundraiser.

We are still awaiting the final amount raised for the Athens County Food Pantry--stay tuned!

Please join us for our annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser on Thursday, November 10th!

All K-6th grade students have created beautiful cups and bowls that will be available for purchase. There will also be a Silent Auction. Proceeds benefit the Athens County Food Pantry.

Annual Halloween Festivities Halloween Fun!

Trick-or-Treat!

Amesville students enjoyed the annual parade through town sharing their costumes with everyone!  It was "spooktacular"!

Check out Cruella De Vil...(is that really Mrs. Lawrence?)! Classroom parties were also a hit--including homemade pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, and even pumpkin soup!

Fire Safety Thank you, Firefighters!

Thank you to the Amesville Ames-Bern Volunteer Firefighters for inviting our students to the fire station to learn all about fire safety.   Students explored fire trucks, equipment, and even sprayed the water hose!  We learned that every family needs a meeting spot and to always have two ways out of your home.  A fun and informative visit!

Farm Day 2016 Farm Day 2016

Farm Day 2016 at the Hays Farm outside of Amesville was a blast!  Students roasted marshmallows, made butter, went fishing, saw lots of animals, popped popcorn, and enjoyed a beautiful fall day at the farm.  Thanks to Steve and Barb Hays for welcoming us back for another year!
