Lancer Care Clinic Updates
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm
Closed 11:00-12:00 for lunch
**Appointments are required, we will no longer be accepting walk ins to protect the health and safety of others. You can call the main office line to schedule 740 662 0541.
We are happy to announce that we are now offering telehealth appointments. To ensure the health and safety of our patients, this option is available for those who do not
require an in office appointment and can be treated using a telephone call or video call. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, or been positively exposed this may be the perfect option for you! Things that require in office appointments include lab draws, physicals (sports, work, well child/woman), some acute illnesses such as UTIs, vaccinations, chronic care appointments for those who have a worsening problem/illness that requires a physical exam.
If you need an appointment or have an upcoming appointment and wish to utilize telehealth services, contact the clinic to make the appropriate change to your appointment.
We will be performing sports physicals with waived copays until the end of December! The 2020-2021 Sports Physical form must be completed and signed, this is a new version, the 2019-2020 forms are no longer valid forms. These can be found online or on the Fed Hock Athletics page.
The clinic is taking every step to ensure that our patients, the students, and staff of both the school and the clinic are as safe as possible during this time. All patients must enter
through the outside entrance of the building, the one designated for the clinic, and exit out that door as well. The exception to this is the students and staff members who have been screened per school protocols the day they visit the clinic.
Prior to entrance into the building, each person will have his/her temperature checked, given a mask to wear if they do not have their own, and will be directed into the clinic. All
staff of the clinic have their temperatures checked at the beginning of the work day.
Ensuring the clinic is sanitary is a priority. Hand sanitizer is located in numerous areas of the clinic. In addition to this, the lobby and exam rooms are disinfected after each patient
leaves. Scheduling has been adjusted to avoid over-crowding in shared spaces.
We do not perform testing on site, however, with a telehealth appointment, a COVID-19 test can be ordered and faxed to a testing site.
Pharmacy Delivery Service
Hopewell Health Centers has their own pharmacy in Logan, Ohio. If you see a Hopewell provider and are prescribed medications, they can be delivered to the Lancer Care Clinic for pick up! Deliveries are usually next day for medications sent previous day, no need to make an extra trip to your local pharmacy. We also offer 340B pricing on medications, ask your nurse or provider about this in your appointment.
Kelsey Zimmerman CMA has decided to transition to the Hopewell Health Centers Nelsonville location. We will miss her smiling face! In interim, we will have a nurse from
Coolville assisting Crystal while we await a new staff member for our front desk. Please welcome Kelsey Barringer LPN during this time.
**Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns! We are here to help you!
