All students at Amesville Elementary will be provided a device that will support remote learning. Staff will be available to give you the device and answer any questions you may have about the device. If you have more than one student at Amesville, you will be able to pick up all devices at the same time.
Device pick up schedule
Monday, August 31st: Tuesday, September 1st
1st grade: 9:00-11:00 4th grade: 9:00-11:00
2nd grade: 11:00-1:00 5th grade: 11:00-1:00
3rd grade: 2:00-4:00 6th grade: 2:00-4:00
Pick up will also be available from 4-6 on Monday and Tuesday for families who are not able to pick up during the times above. If you are planning to pick up during the 4-6 time slot, please call the office (740-448-2501) and let Tammy know.
Staff will be using the door at the far end of the building for pick-up. Please pull into the first available parking spot closest to the far end of the building and stay in your car. A staff member will check in with you to find out who you are picking up for and will deliver the device to your car. Staff members will be able to help with device set up if needed. Students do not need to be present for device pick up.
Devices pick up for Kindergarten students will be during registration. Those times have been scheduled by Tammy. If you need to schedule a time, call the office. Devices pick up for preschool students is being scheduled by the Athens-Meigs ESC. They will contact you about orientation times.
During the week of August 31, students will be meeting with teachers and other classmates to get the year started. The goal of the first week of school will be to get comfortable using the technology and getting to know classmates.
