Dear Federal Hocking High School Families,
Happy New School Year! I can't tell you how excited I am to have this place full of future world changers again! I've been planning for and looking forward to August 23rd since our Graduation Ceremony ended back in May. I'll forgive you if you didn't spend the entire summer excited about the start of a new school year, but do I hope that you had enough positive experiences last year to leave at least a part of you eager to see us all again.
Each student should be receiving a letter in the mail with all of the forms and information that they need to know about the new school year. If your family does not receive one, please call Jess in the main office at (740) 662-6691.
Additionally, if you are interested in making changes to your class schedule, you may arrange with our new School Counselor, Ms. Wright to do so on Tuesday, August 16th, 10:00am to noon and 2:00-5:00pm.
Ms. Ripple will host a brief, mandatory informational meeting for all students planning to pursue an internship placement this year. The meeting will be held in the HS library at 6:30pm on August 18th.
Finally, the FHHS Open House will be on August 18th from 5:00-7:00pm, and the 2022-23 school year begins at 7:50am on August 23rd.
