Just a reminder: Halloween Parade and Parties will begin at 2:30 tomorrow. All costumes must be school-appropriate, and fake weapons are not allowed. At the end of the parade, all parents must sign in with a staff member before entering the building. Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders had a fantastic time at Hallowpalooza today! 🧡 Their experience was even more exciting with front-row seats to the show, giving them a fantastic view of all the fun and excitement! Thank you to Mr. Hartwick for coordinating this opportunity for our students.
Our juniors and seniors had a fantastic time exploring their future opportunities at the Rio Grande College Fair! A big thank you to Mrs. Briles and Mr. Ballew for accompanying our students and helping them take these exciting steps toward higher education and future careers.

Earlier this month, Ms. Fox's class went on a fall scavenger hunt.
For the October FHHS Internship Seminar, we were lucky to have OU Copeland College of Business scholars share professional advice. They went in depth on resume writing, then led breakout sessions where each student received small-group coaching to strengthen their resume. It is all about preparing our small school for big futures, and this day sure embodied our motto. Ms. Ripple was especially proud of our FH students' growth mindset and participation.

India Dyer, FH Class of 2023, came as a guest speaker to share her experiences in the FHHS Internship program and advise current high school interns before they started their placements this year. We are so grateful for our alumni who are willing to give back, and we are proud of our current students as they navigate their career journeys.

Mr. Warner's Physics Class transformed into an engineering lab as students took on the ultimate STEM challenge: creating a Rube Goldberg machine!
A Rube Goldberg machine uses a sequence of simple machines like ramps, levers, wedges, and pulleys to carry out a basic task in an intentionally overcomplicated (and fun!) way.
Students worked exceptionally hard on this machine, and it was a joy to watch them have fun while learning!
