Come back another day

Here's today's poem, with apologies to Dr. Suess
Do you like the wind and snow
I do not like the wind and snow
I do not like them here or there
I do not like them anywhere
I do not liike them in a box
I do not like them with a fox
I donnot like them in a house
I do not like them with a mouse
I do not like them, I must say
Because they cause a two hour delay
For Monday , Feb 23rd, Federal Hocking Schools are on a two-hour delay and bus plan A.

Hey Lancer Land, not an emergency, just a reminder that Monday, Feb. 16 will be our first make up day and will also be a two-hour early dismissal for staff professional development. So Monday, Feb. 16 is a student attendance day with a two hour early dismissal. Hope you have a nice weekend.
Amesville Elementary School hosted its 10th annual Empty Bowls Fundraising Event on Tuesday, 2/10. Families enjoyed the beautiful pottery that their children made and they had delicious food made by our cafeteria staff! We are grateful to all the families and community members who attended.
Special thanks to Miss Connie and Miss Amanda, our Amesville Cafeteria Staff, who cooked all the food, and to the artists who donated bowls for our silent auction. We also want to thank the teachers, PTO members and OU students who volunteered to help during the event!
All the proceeds benefit Amesville's branch of the Athens County Food Pantry.

Our second-grade students had a wonderful opportunity to spread kindness beyond our school walls yesterday during a special visit to Arcadia Nursing Home!
They delivered Valentine messages created by students from across our entire school, personally handing them out to residents and hanging many more throughout the building. To make the visit even more special, our second graders shared a few cheerful songs to help brighten everyone’s day.
It was a very special experience for all, and many of our students shared how excited and proud they felt to bring smiles to others. We are so proud of our second graders for representing our school and showing the power of kindness in our community! ❤️
