The OU Gridlab hosted our FH Career Exploration class for a fun-filled experience today! Students learned of the programs offered and what career options there are with virtual reality, as well as the green screen technology, sound lab, and E-sports programs.
We appreciate these hands-on experiences and enjoy learning about opportunities outside of our school.

FHHS, in partnership with Tri County Career Center, was awarded more than $200,000 from Ohio's Career Technical Education Equipment grant! The funds will support the creation of an Exercise Science and Sports Medicine career pathway at FHHS by renovating one of our science labs and purchasing a variety of life science resources, including a state-of-the-art digital anatomy table. The anatomy table can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRTJ0N4QSy4

Mrs. Connie and Mrs. Gini's preschool class is learning about 3D shapes. They used toothpicks and marshmallows to make some of those shapes.

On April 8, 2024 a total eclipse will be visible in our area. Because the maximum view of this would be during the afternoon ride home for elementary students, school will be dismissed early on April 8.
Federal Hocking Middle and High Schools will be dismissed at 12:30 on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Amesville and Coolville Elementary Schools will be dismissed at 1:30 on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Thank you,

Thank you also to the members of our local resources at Hopewell Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Center, Little Lancers Program and the Coolville Public Library who came to help support our families as well.

FHHS was fortunate to have guest presenters Brett Hill and Amedee Royer bring cultural awareness to our students using their first-hand knowledge of the people and customs of Ukraine. These musicians performed traditional Ukrainian songs that all of the Lancers thoroughly enjoyed.
