Everyone in the FH community is invited to come enjoy some pancakes and kick off the holidays! Breakfast is free, but donations to the ACCS Santa Tree Project will be accepted.

Coolville Elementary PTO will have a Secret Santa Shop set up December 12th-18th during school hours. Children will be able to shop with their class during their scheduled time. The children brought home a budget list to plan who they will buy gifts for. Please help your child fill this out and then return it to school along with the amount of money they are allowed to spend. The Shop will also be open on the nights of our Christmas Concerts on Tuesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 12th and during Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 14th.

Coolville Families! Join us for our PTO’s Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 14, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM! Enjoy a delicious breakfast while visiting with Santa. Plus, the Secret Santa Shop will be open for your students to shop for special gifts! We can’t wait to see you all there!

Before break, Amesville 1st graders joined together to celebrate being one big happy family! They completed cooperative challenges and made stone soup to share!

Come eat delicious chilis, soups, and desserts to support the FH Class of 2028 and then attend the Boys Home BB game against Belpre! This is a great deal. Please mark your calendar.

🎉 Congratulations to our very first Lancers R.I.D.E. raffle winner, L.J. Graham! 🎉
L.J. earned a R.I.D.E. ticket for demonstrating exceptional integrity and embodying the values that make our school community strong. He deposited his ticket into our raffle box and his name was selected!
The Lancers R.I.D.E. program celebrates students who show:
⭐️R – Responsibility
⭐️I – Integrity
⭐️D – Determination
⭐️E – Empathy
This Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative highlights our students' amazing actions. We’re thrilled to recognize and reward their hard work and character! Let’s cheer on L.J. and stay tuned for our next winner—our students are doing great things!

Once again, Ms. Ripple did a phenomenal job recruiting and organizing some exceptional community members for our FHHS Career Day. We're grateful for all of the time and energy that everyone invested in our students' futures!

This morning, Middle and High School students selected 20 ornaments for the annual Santa Tree project. Each ornament represents a child in need of Christmas gifts. Athens County Children's Services joined us to explain the initiative, which provides gifts to approximately 1,000 children in Athens County. Our students always look forward to this event and embrace the spirit of giving. The gifts will be presented to ACCS during our assembly and "12 Days of Christmas" sing-along, scheduled for the day before winter break.

We're excited to share a new weekly feature, the FHHS Lancer Learners and Leaders. Enjoy meeting our staff and students!

Seven students attended an Entrepreneurship workshop along with other local high school students at Marietta College. They gained leadership experience and had to problem solve in teams. One session featured an escape room activity, and the other one involved creative design and marketing. They made us proud when they won all three sections of the design and marketing challenge, as the only three winning groups were all Lancers! -Ms. Ripple
