Coolville field day was a huge success!
Attention Coolville Parents! If your child has prescription or over the counter medications at the school they will be held until June 9th. After June 9th they will be discarded. You may pick them up M-F 9am-4pm. Thank you!
Fifteen graduating seniors participated in FH's first Senior Signing Day. Any senior who has a plan to enter the workforce after graduation, enlist in the American armed forces, or enroll in a postsecondary educational institution had the opportunity to have their high school achievements recognized and to serve as inspiration to the student body in attendance. Several students were accompanied by their families, and two brought their Air Force recruiter. The entire Federal Hocking community is proud of all of our students and their successes, no matter which directions they lead.
Senior Signing Day Part 2
Attention, this is Mr. Hoover with an important message. Summer school registrations were due on Friday May 19th. If you are planning for your child to attend the Coolville Summer program, final permissions must be received by tomorrow Wednesday May 24th.
These numbers will inform us on staffing needed and our ability to provide the service to our families. Please call our office if you are interested in participating at 740-667-3121.

The Bingo Basket online auction is up and running until Sunday at 6:00 P.M. Federal Hocking supporters may view the baskets and place a bid on the district Facebook account. All proceeds go to the PTO at Coolville to sponsor field trips, events and fun activities for our students. We thank you for your support!
Congratulations to this year's recipients of community-based scholarships! Twelve seniors earned over $30,000 in support from private businesses, community organizations, and family funds. The 2023 recipients are Tiffany Allen, Olivia Amlin, Mia Basim, Brady Bond, Abigail Householder, Grace Jeffers, Amber Lucas, Jennie Maxwell, Isabella McVey, Iden Miller, Chloe Phillips, and Lyndsey Robinson.

This past year The Vision Van visited Coolville Elementary! While at Coolville they screened every student, provided full eye exams to 150 students and provided glasses to 106 students in our building! The Vision Van is a no cost service for every student at Coolville! The Vision Van would love to hear from parents! Hello This is Mr. Hoover at Coolville with an important reminder. The Coolville Art and Spring Music Performance will be held this evening from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. We encourage everyone to come and see our students Art with doors opening at 5:30. Musical performances will begin at 6 P.M. We would like all 4th and 5th grade students to report to the music room by 5:50 P.M. As always we look forward to seeing our community and hope that you enjoy the performances.

Federal Hocking proudly announces that the Athens-Meigs ESC selected senior Isabella McVey as the Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award recipient for Athens County! She attended a luncheon on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Lewis Center, OH, to receive her award, along with other high school students representing each of Ohio's eighty-eight counties. The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award was established in 1989 by Ohio's educational service center superintendents to recognize academic achievement, personal accomplishments, and community service. Congratulations to Isabella!
