Hey Coolville Families! You won't want to miss the exciting back-to-school event happening at the Coolville Public Library on August 5th at 4:00 PM. Join in the fun with bingo games and the chance to win prizes that will help your student prepare for the first day of school. It’s a great opportunity to connect with others and get ready for the new school year. Don't miss it!

There is a mandatory parent meeting on Thursday, August 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the FHHS library for a parent/guardian of any student who is new to interning during the 2025-2026 school year. Students are not required to attend, but they are certainly welcome if their schedule permits. To clarify, if a student was in the internship program last year, a parent is excused. This is the same night at the open house for the high school. If you have any questions, please reach out to Renee Ripple at rripple@fhlancers.com

In late May, 5th graders from Amesville and Coolville took a field trip to the Columbus Museum of Art! Museum docents gave students a tour of the collection, and then students had time to explore the Museum with their chaperones. They had a wonderful time!! Special thanks to Ms. Carbone, retired FH art teacher, whose generous donation made this special trip possible.

Students in Mrs. Gallaher's class made fleece blankets for the Athens County Sheriff's Office to give to children who may be in need. The class began making them as part of a kindness project during the schoolwide kindness initiative in February and has continued to work on them. They were so happy to present them to Deputy White.

Victory is sweet at Amesville Elementary!
Our students celebrated a huge accomplishment with a visit from the ice cream truck — a well-earned treat for logging over 13,000 miles this school year through our Running Club program, Marathon Kids!
Our original goal was 12,000 miles, and these amazing students blew right past it! What an incredible display of commitment, dedication, and perseverance.
Great job, runners — we are so proud of you!

We are honored to spotlight a tremendous student as well as a true staple of Federal Hocking — Mr. Kasler, who has spent years of shaping young minds through Social Studies.
His impact is more than just history..... it's legendary.
Thank you, Mr. Kasler, for making the past unforgettable!

Join us tonight at 7 PM at Federal Hocking High School for our Senior Project Showcase!

Seven seniors participated in Federal Hocking High School's annual Senior Signing Day yesterday. This event is to recognize students who have committed to plans for success after high school, and all high school students attend the ceremony. Seniors were invited to share their future plans, whether it be entering the workforce, enlisting in the armed forces, or enrolling in post-secondary education. Federal Hocking is proud of all of our students and their successes, no matter which path they choose!

Mr. Golter and these FHHS students had a great time at the Shawnee State SUMS math competition last Friday. Raen won the overall individual competition and was on a pick-up group for the team competition that made it into the final round.
